Have
you been looking for an opportunity to network with other AutoCAD professionals
in the Tidewater (Hampton Roads) area of Virginia?
If so, then now is your chance. The Eastern Virginia AutoCAD Users Group - EVAUG
holds their meetings in Norfolk, VA. EVAUG is a Local User Group (LUG) of
Autodesk User Group International (AUGI).
Your local AutoCAD user group’s main focus shall be to educate, enhance,
and enlighten attendees in the effective application of CAD and CAD-related
products.
With your help we can accomplish this by holding monthly meetings. At these
meetings, users will evaluate and discuss the various uses of CAD products
and related productivity issues, as well as to share and solve common frustrations.
This is a great way to exchange information, problems, and new ideas.
The group strives to have meaningful meetings covering topics of current
interest to our attendees. Past meeting topics have included: Script files,
Button Macros,
Contract printing shops, New AutoCAD releases, Dimensioning styles and techniques,
Customization and Programming, websites for downloads, Building Systems,
Inventor, Migration Assistance, and more.
Meetings occur on the third Thursday each month, at 6:30 pm. Please check
the Calendar for more information on upcoming meetings. Autodesk
software, such as Autodesk Viz, Raster Design, AutoCAD & Architectural
Desktop & Building Systems are usually given away (see Past
Meeting Minutes for previous prizes given), as well as shirts, hats, books,
computer hardware, and 3rd party software. Attendance is always free,
but the EVAUG membership entitles you to several extras including access
to tier
one door prizes and various other amenities.
We are always looking for new members to join our group so that all can share
their knowledge and experiences using AutoCAD. Thank you for your consideration. We
look forward to seeing you at the next EVAUG meeting.
We would also like to thank each individual and company who supports and attends our
meetings, the EVAUG would not continue to grow in its current direction without
your active participation.
Your EVAUG officers,
Stephen Collier,
Jim Jenkins,
Beau Turner,
